A video on NDTV’s website showing the service’s TV listings being pulled down has been viewed more than 50,000 times in less than two hours.
NDTV said on Tuesday that the service had been suspended for two days.
It said the video was taken down for a few hours due to a technical error.
NDtv is a cable television channel that offers programming from Hindi-language channels such as The Hindu, TVBid, IBNLive, and Al Jazeera English.
The channel has been the target of online criticism in India and other countries over its coverage of the 2002 riots.
ND TV is the largest private broadcaster in the country, and is one of the country’s most influential channels, which has been targeted by the government of Narendra Modi, who was elected last year.
