Fox Sports reports that Amazon, eBay, and Disney will merge into one company.
Amazon will sell its video streaming and music-streaming businesses, while Disney will sell movies and TV shows.
The deal is set for completion by the end of the year.
The merger would allow Disney to focus on Disney content in the U.S., while Amazon would continue to focus exclusively on video-streamable content for customers in North America and Europe.
Amazon’s video business would continue expanding, while eBay would remain focused on online services and Amazon Web Services.
The new company would have about 1,000 employees.
